This sequence follows the book's shift from the uneasy familiarity of Derry and the Losers' childhood bond into the entity's lurking menace, then toward the adult characters' return and reckoning. The score cues, spare piano, disquieting strings, and restrained ambient textures evoke the town's buried history and the group's individual fears without overwhelming concentration.
